About the Authors
Derek C. Davis is the co-author of the novels No Excuse, No Denial and The Webs We Weave, and Shooting Starr; and author of the novel Silver Helm, the book of short stories titled Length-Challenged Tales; and the book of poetry and songs, Songs of the Whispering Wind. Dr. Davis has been a practicing chiropractor for over 30 years in the City of Trees, Boise, Idaho. In his practice, Derek gets to meet patients from all walks of life — some of which need a good adjustment after their regular tangle with badgers.
Anna Kelley, co-author of the action-adventure novel The Webs We Weave, brings a wonderful feminine touch to the children’s book The Badger Brothers. Retired pharmacist, caring mother and all-around trouble-maker, Anna’s sense of humor and delight brought life and silliness to our mischievous badgers.
Kat Davis, having Masters of Sustainability Communication, Planning and Design, a BA of Environmental Studies and a BA in Geography, has spent her career working on systems change in education for sustainability and has been published in articles advancing research on public engagement for climate action. Passionate about helping change-makers imagine a future worth fighting for, Kat’s podcast, Surviving Service, discusses maintaining personal resilience, peace, and a sense of humor when doing good work
